Inform Nutrition’s KERVA is an innovative, cost-effective alkaline grain treatment system for storing and preserving home-grown grain, at harvest. It also can be used to enhance dried or aerated grain at any time during the year. KERVA enhances the nutritional value of grain for ruminant feeding while reducing input costs, typically increasing protein levels by up to four units.

The elevated pH of KERVA-treated grain supports higher cereal inclusion rates, improving feed and fibre digestion resulting in increased animal productivity and performance. Suitable for barley, wheat, rye, oats, beans and maize, KERVA provides a versatile solution across a range of feeding systems. It is also suitable for treating mature whole crop and mature straw.
Grain can be stored whole or rolled, provided it is not over processed. Where it is stored whole, grain should be rolled or crimped prior to feeding to ensure optimal utilisation.
Key Benefits:
Preserving grain & reducing storage losses due to moulds and heating issues
Providing a nutritionally enhanced concentrate that is safer to feed
Reduced feed costs
Improved animal health & wellbeing
