All New Peugeot 408 Launched
DoneDeal were delighted to join PEUGEOT Ireland for the Irish launch of the new Peugeot 408 at the prestigious Cashel Palace Hotel in Clonmel recently. Attractive from every angle, the new PEUGEOT 408 has raised expectations with it’s distinctive features. The first of its kind in the history of the Brand, the new 408 showcases PEUGEOT’s creativity by offering a new fastback silhouette at the top of the C segment. This modern PEUGEOT boasts a sleek appearance, emphasises efficiency through its advanced engineering and embraces intelligent electrification. It also offers a thrilling driving experience with cutting-edge technologies that are intuitive to use. The first units of the PEUGEOT 408 have just arrived in dealerships with pricing kicking off from €39,995 for the Allure trim level. The next step up will be Allure Pack from €41,995 topped off by the GT from €44,995.
The PEUGEOT 408 stands out first and foremost for its striking fastback styling and its unmistakable road presence. The lines are sharp with the front grille colour coded to blend in perfectly with the front end, and it proudly bears the new PEUGEOT coat of arms. The new PEUGEOT 408 sits solidly on 720mm diameter wheels and the iconic 19-inch rims feature a disruptive geometric design. At the front, the fang-shaped light signature perfectly integrates the 408 into the PEUGEOT family, as do the three-claw LED lights at the rear. The inverted cut-out of the rear bumper gives the profile a strong, unique look.
Based on the multi-energy EMP2 (Efficient Modular Platform) version it has a length of 4.69m with a long wheelbase of 2.79m. The new PEUGEOT 408 has a remarkably spacious second row, with 188mm of legroom. The boot is also generously sized, with a volume of 536 litres, which can be increased to 1.611 litres once the rear seats are folded down. The new PEUGEOT 408 is 1.48m high with a slim and sleek silhouette, which improves aerodynamic efficiency. This new PEUGEOT 408 will come in 6 colours: Obsession Blue, Titanium Grey, Cumulus Grey, Elixir Red, Pearl White and Black Perla Nera.
