Customers who install a HIVE EV charger before the 31 August with Bord Gáis Energy and sign up for an EV Smart Plan will receive a €150 credit on their bill. Bord Gáis Energy is also currently offering new customers a 33% discount on their domestic electricity plans when they sign up before the 31 July. The Hive EO mini-Pro 3 is available to purchase online and is installed by a trusted local tradesperson with BordGáis Energy Local Heroes. Bord Gáis Energy’s smart EV tariffs are designed especially for electric vehicle owners and allows people to charge an electric car at reduced night rates. A full overnight home charge, depending on the model, will get you between 300km to 500km average distance, and costs as little as €9.50 when using the night rate electricity. This can be added to a customer’s regular domestic electricity bill in the usual way.
