Dacia Outlines 2024 Dealership Goals

Having celebrated its 10th anniversary in Ireland in 2023, Dacia is looking forward to another exciting year ahead with new product launches planned along with the completion of the new Dacia visual identity by its dealer network. Dacia, the best value for money brand that constantly redefines the essentials, also celebrated its most successful year to date in terms of volume of registrations which were up 41% on 2022 with the brand finishing in 9th position in the overall car market in 2023.

Last year Dacia’s range performed well with the ever-popular Sandero maintaining its number two position in its segment.  Duster finished the year in 7th position in the competitive C-SUV segment, with the multi-award-winning Jogger maintaining its position as the second best-selling 7-seater in the market.

Around the country Sandero was top of the walk in Waterford as the county’s bestselling model, with Duster coming in a close second, while in Laois and Louth, Duster was the 4th best-selling model, and was on the podium in County Offaly.

The acceleration of the new visual identity roll-out for Dacia caps a fantastic year for the brand in Ireland and lays the foundations for an even more exciting 2024. Visiting one of the 30 Dacia dealerships around the country is fast becoming as pleasing to the eye as it is to the wallet following Dacia completing the brand’s new visual identity on the exterior of over 80% of its network.  24 dealerships have now been externally upgraded to the striking new visual identity and those still transitioning to the bold new look are set for completion by April 2024.

The external identity is designed to reference the values and attributes of Dacia. For example, the thick khaki line running around the edges of the Dealership’s building embodies the robustness, simplicity, and outdoor appeal of the brand. Other notable features include the large totem, made up of a khaki-colour metal and wood-inspired detailing, and the new emblem which consists of illuminated box letters that appear khaki during the day and white at night. The interior fit-outs commenced in the second half of 2023 with 100% completion expected by the end of 2024. Dacia’s goal is to feature the new brand visual identity across all its dealerships in advance of the launch of the all-new Duster in the second quarter of 2024. Dacia will also introduce the all-electric Spring to the market which is destined to be a game-changer in the Irish electric car segment.

Seamus Morgan, CEO, Cedar Motors Ltd, importer and distributor for Dacia in Ireland:

“2023 was the most successful year to date for Dacia in Ireland since its launch 10 years ago and with the eagerly anticipated All-New Duster and New Spring coming on board later this year, the brand’s success looks set to continue. We look forward to seeing the new brand identity transformations completed across all Dacia dealerships in 2024”.
