KRONE Enhances GX General-Purpose Wagon Range with Greater
Comfort, Control and Versatility
KRONE has further developed its GX general-purpose wagon range, introducing a
series of enhancements designed to improve operator comfort, versatility and day-to-
day performance. The latest generation builds on the success of the GX concept,
helping farmers and contractors meet the growing demands of modern agricultural
transport.
The updated range includes the GX 360, GX 440 and GX 520, offering load
capacities of 36m³, 44m³ and 52m³ respectively. Alongside a completely new
generation of job computers and a redesigned user interface, the wagons benefit
from a host of engineering improvements aimed at boosting reliability, ease of use
and overall efficiency. The latest models also feature a refreshed exterior design that
reflects the technical upgrades beneath the surface.
New Job Computer and Contactless Steering System
At the heart of the update is a new job computer that delivers a modern, intuitive
operating experience through the tractor terminal. Operators benefit from a clear
graphical interface featuring 3D elements, animations and a freely configurable
multifunction bar, allowing all key wagon functions to be controlled quickly and
efficiently. The new GX generation also introduces a contactless electronic forced-
steering system, a technology already proven on KRONE's RX, ZX and TX loading
and forage transport wagons. Using a sensor mounted ahead of the front axle, the
system continuously calculates the ideal steering angle based on speed and
direction of travel. By eliminating external switching flags and mechanical linkages,
the design allows for tighter steering angles and significantly improved
manoeuvrability, particularly in confined working environments.
Greater Focus on Reliability, Cleanliness and Durability
KRONE engineers have also focused on a number of practical design improvements
aimed at making the GX even more robust and easier to maintain.
A key enhancement is the repositioning of the gearbox at the front of the wagon.
This creates additional space and significantly improves the self-cleaning effect,
allowing loose material to fall through more easily and reducing build-up around
critical components. The result is greater operational reliability, even in demanding
conditions.
Improved sealing throughout the wagon ensures quieter operation while providing
better protection for key components. Reduced friction and wear contribute to lower
maintenance requirements, improved reliability and a longer service life.
GX PRO
For operators seeking maximum convenience and functionality, the PRO models
come equipped with intuitive ISOBUS direct control as standard.
Available and standard features include:
Hydraulically telescopic side walls for reduced drop height
Integrated weighing system
Contactless electronic forced steering
Radio remote control
ExactUnload unloading management system
The ExactUnload system automatically adjusts unloading speed according to silo
length and tractor forward speed, helping to achieve consistent and controlled
material distribution.
Built for Modern Agricultural Transport
With the latest GX generation, KRONE continues to refine and enhance an already
proven transport solution. The combination of a new operating system, advanced
steering technology and a range of practical engineering improvements delivers a
wagon that is more comfortable, versatile and reliable than ever before.
Whether working in agriculture or the contracting sector, operators can expect
greater efficiency, improved manoeuvrability and dependable performance across a
wide range of transport applications.
New KRONE GX Available as a Collectors Model
For machinery enthusiasts and collectors, KRONE has also launched the new GX as
a premium scale model. Available through the KRONE Shop, the highly detailed
1:32-scale GX 440 PRO has been produced by renowned model manufacturer ROS.
Manufactured predominantly from die-cast metal and replicating the original machine
with impressive accuracy, the model is an attractive addition to any agricultural
machinery collection.
