Kverneland is proud to announce the introduction of the new 5387 MT triple mower combination, set to hit the Irish market in Spring 2024. This innovative solution promises greater productivity and ease of operation, designed specifically to meet the demands of long working days in the field.

With a working width of 8.75 meters and equipped with the innovative QuattroLink suspension concept, the 5387 MT is engineered for high-performance mowing. Its heavy-duty build, based on the trusted 3300 series platform, ensures maximum productivity while offering excellent ground tracking, easy operation, and outstanding versatility.

Featuring two 3.2m mowing units, each boasting 8 round Kverneland discs, this combination is compatible with tractors starting from 180hp. Farmers can choose between simple mechanical controls as standard or upgrade to the Dual Lift Control joystick for added convenience in electro-hydraulic folding and unfolding.

‘BX’ Belt Merger Version

For those seeking to optimize crop collection efficiency, the BX version of the 5387 MT comes equipped with a belt merger. This addition not only improves productivity but also enhances the quality of output. The high-speed belts, operating up to 1500rpm, are designed to handle massive volumes of crop, including heavy first cut silage, while ensuring even and narrow swath placement.

QuattroLink for Accurate Ground Tracking

Safety and convenience are at the forefront of the 5387 MT design. The QuattroLink suspension provides accurate ground following ability, with a generous working range of 400mm upwards and 300mm downwards, along with a transverse adaptation range of 30°. Additionally, the 100% NonStop BreakAway system offers protection across the full working width of the mower, ensuring uninterrupted operation even when encountering obstacles in the field.

Following the 5387 MT, Kverneland introduces the 85156 C Trailed ProLine tedder, a robust solution engineered for optimal crop handling. With a 15.6-meter working width and 14 rotors, this tedder is designed for intensive usage, offering an efficient and uniform crop distribution.

Ground Following Innovation

One of the standout features of the 85156 C is its TerraFlow system, a ground following solution that allows each rotor to accurately adapt to ground contours. This innovation ensures consistent tine distance to the ground across the tedder's full working width, resulting in clean, precise work and a uniform crop flow.

It requires only a single acting valve ram for raising and lowering, and a double action valve ram for folding, making it compatible with most tractors. The tedder also features a transport width of less than 3 meters, allowing for easy road transport.
